About the AlphaVerse Hub — Trick Studio
AlphaVerse is an ambitious metaverse project conceived as a “universe of universes,” connecting multiple digital worlds into a single immersive ecosystem.
I had the opportunity to contribute to the project twice as a Concept Artist, and this post showcases part of my work as Senior Concept Artist at Trick Studio, one of Argentina’s leading indie game studios.
Working alongside a talented team of artists, I helped develop the visual identity and worldbuilding of the central Hub: a futuristic city designed as the main gateway between the different universes of AlphaVerse.
My work focused on environment concept design, architectural exploration, spatial storytelling, and visual development for key districts such as:
• Entertainment District
• Plaza Hub
• VIP Beach Club
• Sanctuary Areas
• Interior Social Spaces and Props
The goal was to create environments that felt immersive, elegant, and socially alive while maintaining a cohesive architectural language across the entire experience. A major part of the process involved balancing large-scale readability, gameplay navigation, atmosphere, and visual spectacle.
For these presentations, we combined traditional concept art workflows, paintovers, design sketches, blockouts, and generative AI-assisted rendering techniques to accelerate visual exploration and communicate ideas more efficiently during development.
The AI tools were used as part of the rendering and iteration pipeline, always guided by artistic direction, composition, design intent, and manual refinement.
This project was an incredible opportunity to work on large-scale worldbuilding and collaborative visual development for an evolving digital entertainment experience that merges architecture, technology, interaction, and community.
Huge thanks to the Trick Studio team and everyone involved in bringing AlphaVerse to life.
